I am creative by design: photographer, artist, gardener, scuba diver, and passionate observer of life. Over 30 years ago, I married my best friend, and together we have learned some of life's most difficult and remarkable lessons. Our greatest unified endeavor has been raising 7 of the most amazing kids.They are so incredibly unique, and yet so wonderfully connected. I am a grandmother to a brilliant little girl that is discovering the world for the first time and helping me rediscover all of its splendor and glory! I love animals and have chosen to surround myself with many of them. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats and a large (very large) tortoise. I love the simple truths learned through meaningful interactions with others, and recognize it not only gives my life greater purpose, it defines it. There is nothing more important to me than the people in my life. I have come to realize though that it is not only my family and friends. Once it was the woman I got to sit and visit with on a flight to Chicago, or there was the time the man that stops to see what I am looking at, as I stare over the rail of the Delaware bridge: We share a bag of plums while we watch the vast array of fish swimming below in the silky current. Somehow we too, while incredibly unique, also find ourselves wonderfully connected; realizing this has made my life truly more meaningful.
